Bakti desa is an event in my school which held every year for the 11th graders. It is where we come to a village and stay there for 3 days with the villager. This year, bakti desa held on 3, 4, and 5 January.
At the first day, we gathered at SMAN 3 Bandung and went to Cibeureum village by angkot. We arrived there in the afternoon and then we ate lunch. After that we're separated into groups of 4 and guided to our home stay. My group stayed at Bu Ai's house. We had some talk with the family. They are really friendly. In the evening, my classmates and I meet some kids form the village. They look so excited to meet us.
Second day, we were supposed to help our house family with their job. But because of the garden where they work was too far away, so we join the other team to do the gardening. In the afternoon, we met the village kids again and play with them. In this day, my class also visited a potato garden and learnt about this plant and how to plant them.
At the third day, may class went to cisanti lake. We went there by walking for about 2 hours. We have to take longer paths because the current paths are damaged and too dangerous to pass. After come back from cisanti lake, we prepare to go home. We say goodbye and give something for our (my group) home stay family.
